In the upcoming season of Five Days Inside, the new presentation trio Natasja Froger, Geraldine Kemper and Rick Brandsteder will go 'inside' extraordinary locations that normally remain closed to the public. This season the presenters will stay in a shelter for women who have (had) to deal with severe sexual violence, a homeless shelter in the center of Rotterdam and an offshore production platform for gas extraction. Five Days Inside can be seen weekly at 8:30 p.m. on RTL 5 starting Wednesday, September 1.

Natasja Froger: "After my visits in the previous season, I thought I was somewhat prepared, but still I was overwhelmed by emotions when I visited De Veilige Veste. This is where children and women who have experienced severe sexual violence stay. Because of these horrific stories, which it is all the more important to tell, I needed aftercare for the first time in my life."
Geraldine Kemper: "At RTL I can look for the mix between entertainment on the one hand and telling extraordinary stories on the other. It is therefore an honor to present 'Five Days Inside'. The visits to the epilepsy center and the institution for spinal cord rehabilitation and the stories I heard there will stay with me for a long time. The visit to the offshore production platform, for which I even had to undergo safety training, was as impressive as it was spectacular."
Rick Brandsteder: "I have been a fan of 'Five Days Inside.' from the very beginning. So when I got the chance to present it, it was a dream come true. Among other things, I visited a homeless shelter in Rotterdam and I can't wait to show the viewers the stories behind the people who live there. It made me realize that nothing is self-evident and that you can lose everything from one moment to the next."
Episodes
In episode 1 Natasja visits De Veilige Veste, where children and women who have experienced severe sexual violence stay. She hears things she never thought possible and sees how the young residents, through intensive therapy, are guided to return to society. In episode 2 Geraldine goes 'inside' Kempenhaeghe, where she gets a glimpse into the lives of people with severe epilepsy. In the third episode Rick immerses himself in Havenzicht, a Rotterdam homeless shelter. A raw, rough and special place, because there is not only a night shelter, but also a nursing department and a 'living' department. Furthermore, an offshore production platform for gas extraction, a rehabilitation center for paraplegics, a fishing cutter, a neonatology department and a care facility for chronically, seriously or terminally ill children will be featured this season.
'Five Days Inside' is produced by Vincent TV Productions and can be seen weekly at 8:30 p.m. on RTL 5 starting Wednesday, September 1.
