Ilusionist Hans Klok (52) is in contact with production company Vincent TV Productions about a new television format. He wants to raise the level of a new generation of magicians, illusionists and mentalists.

The idea is for Klok to judge shows by up-and-coming artists and then train the one in whom he sees the most potential. "As a little kid I always tried to master all kinds of tricks, but of course I didn't have many examples. The Internet didn't exist yet and I had to make do with the occasional television show or books. There was a lack of expertise and without beating myself up about it: of course I do have that for a new generation. I would love to mentor them. And not just shows, but also presentation, choreography, interview techniques, the whole package", says Klok who is working with Vincent TV Productions (Chateau Meiland, Dragons' Den) on this new format. Who and when it will air is not yet clear.
Hans Klok returned in November 2020 from Las Vegas, where he had started in the summer of 2019 but was unable to perform early last year due to corona. Meanwhile, the illusionist is full of plans, such as a cinema film, a documentary on variety and thus the television program with new talent.
